Al-Hussan International Academy (HIA) is a private English language day school with 1533 students, situated in a new modern premises in the city of Al-Khobar. This large campus houses students from K-12 with state-of-the-art facilities, including modern classrooms, libraries, E-library, learning nooks, swimming pool, exhibition spaces and laboratories. The school provides the environment and the experiences which promote the moral, social and intellectual development of all its pupils. Every child is cherished and receives support and encouragement within a strong, caring community. The school offers a well-rounded education through its provision of different programmes of instruction for students from K to Grade 12. We acknowledge that every child is born with unique potential, and we seek to develop each child’s creativity, expand their horizons and prepare them to be responsible global citizens and leaders.

English is the language of instruction, with Arabic, French or Urdu offered as a second language and as a foreign language for non-native speakers. Islamic classes are offered to all students from KG to Grade 12. HIA strives to continually improve the quality of education it provides. We are accredited by COGNIA and by Council of International schools (CIS). High School students are offered to sit for IGCSE, EDEXCEL or O Level exams in Grade 10 and to elect one of the two programs: British Program (A Level) or the IBDP in Grade 11 & 12.

Courses on offer in the IB Diploma Programme are: English Literature, Arabic B, Arabic ab-initio, French B, French ab-initio, Business Management, Economics, Psychology, Biology, ITGS, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Math Analysis and Approaches (AA), Mathematics Applications and Interpretation (AI) and Visual Arts.
