Box Hill School is a co-educational boarding school for students aged 11-18, located in the scenic Surrey Hills, just 30 minutes from Heathrow and Gatwick airports, with easy access to Central London. As a founding member of the Round Square network, we are committed to experiential learning and character education, guided by our IDEALS: Internationalism, Democracy, Environmentalism, Adventure, Leadership, and Service. These values shape our school ethos and provide opportunities for students to attend global conferences and participate in community service projects abroad.

Academic Curriculum:

In Years 7-9, students follow the National Curriculum, progressing to a wide range of IGCSEs. In the Sixth Form, we offer both the IB Diploma and A Levels programmes, with a broad selection of subjects across the sciences, humanities, arts and languages. Our IB programme is highly respected by top universities in the UK and internationally. We also offer a two-week Summer Pre-School English course to help students improve their English and gain boarding experience, as well as a 1-year Pre-Sixth accelerated GCSE programme to prepare for Sixth Form entry.

Co-curricular Programme:

At Box Hill School, our Co-curricular Programme supports both academic and personal growth, with two dedicated afternoons each week - one for Games and one for Enrichment Activities. These sessions are all outcome driven and allow you to explore new interests, develop skills and connect with others. Options change each term, offering creative, academic and service-oriented pursuits. Games sessions promote fitness, teamwork, and leadership, helping you stay active and build resilience.
