It offers all stages of the Spanish Education System: Infant School, Primary School, Secondary School, all the modalities of the LOMLOE Baccalaureate and the IB Diploma Programme. It is currently soliciting the IB Middle Years Programme.
The school is authorized to teach initiation, basic and professional courses in music, giving students the possibility to obtain official certification in Basic and Professional Music in eighteen symphonic specialties and international recognition in agreement with the official European qualifications (E.Q.F.) in collaboration with Trinity College London.
Following the latest external tests, Colegio San José has a 100% pass rate in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, the highest result in 2024 being 43/45. In the University Entrance Examinations (PEvAU), the highest result was 13.725. All its pupils have obtained the necessary qualifications that have allowed them to access their chosen university degree. Likewise, in the latest PISA tests, pupils in 4th year ESO have passed in all the assessed subjects: Reading, Mathematics and Science, with a score above the OECD countries and above the average for Spain.
The school features in the ranking of the 100 Best Schools in Spain prepared by the newspaper El Mundo, and distinguishes Colegio San José as the first in Malaga. In addition, it is also in the ranking of the 100 Best Schools in Spain according to the prestigious Forbes Magazine.
