Edgewood High School is a public high school located in the city of West Covina, 19 miles east of Los Angeles. Edgewood is an International Baccalaureate World School authorized to offer the Middle Years Programme, Diploma Programme, and Career-related Programme. Edgewood serves a diverse population of 792 students. Edgewood reopened as a high school in 2010 with our first graduation class in May of 2014. In addition to being an IB World School since 2011, Edgewood has been accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

Edgewood offers a smaller learning community focused on preparing creative, inquiring, and caring students prepared for college and career. This can be seen in our Mission Statement, "Edgewood, an IB World School, is committed to building a globally aware community of lifelong learners who achieve high academic standards. Edgewood provides a diverse, challenging curriculum that is student-centered and develops inquisitive, knowledgeable, and empathetic students who actively engage in and contribute to their family, community, and the world around them."

Edgewood offers a variety of courses to meet our diverse student needs. The curriculum includes: honors courses in 9th and 10th grade, both standard level and higher level IB courses, a world language program, a fine arts department offering visual arts, music, and drama, a health and physical education program, career and technical education pathways in athletic training, game design, public safety, performance dance, CISCO, and video production, and support services for special education and English learner students. Students at Edgewood learn in state of the art facilities including a new Event Center. The Event Center features a 350-seat auditorium and freestanding seats and houses the IB Career Programme courses in Game Design and Video Production.

Students at Edgewood are also provided personal and social development opportunities created by participation in extracurricular activities such as ASB, clubs, yearbook, dances, study trips, performances, cheer, athletics, and service opportunities. Edgewood offers CIF sports in cross country, baseball, softball, tennis, basketball, volleyball, water polo, soccer, wrestling, track, and swim. The new Edgewood Sports Complex features an Olympic-size swimming pool, updated locker rooms, two digital scoreboards capable of video playback, a high-quality sound system, and updated basketball courts.
