The Canadian School of Brasília is a bilingual institution (Portuguese/English) located in Brazil's capital city, Brasília, with two campuses: Sudoeste and Águas Claras. Our mission is to foster active learning while focusing on the unique needs of each student, both individually and as part of a collaborative community. As a bilingual school, we believe that strong language skills are essential for academic success and personal development.

Our curriculum is based on the Brazilian National Common Curricular Base, carefully aligned with best practices in international education and IB premises. In our classrooms, students engage in collaborative learning, where individual differences are respected, and each child's academic potential is nurtured. This approach helps shape our students into thoughtful, responsible global citizens with strong moral values and a sense of social responsibility.

The Canadian School of Brasília is committed to incorporating Canadian educational practices, which emphasize hands-on learning and group interaction. Our educators are dedicated to implementing these approaches to enhance students' academic, social, and emotional growth.

We are proud to be an IB PYP authorized school and a candidate for the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP).

In addition to our academic curriculum, we offer a wide range of co-curricular opportunities, including music, drama, art, advanced mathematics, Spanish language, concert band, and design, along with specialized interactive clubs, depending on students' age and interests. Since our founding in 2005, the school has experienced significant growth, most notably in 2022 with the launch of our High School program in partnership with Columbia International College, offering a dual degree option.

Our extracurricular program further supports students' development outside the classroom, with activities such as soccer, ballet, jazz dance, judo, musical theatre, violin, guitar, choir, chess, robotics, basketball, volleyball, inline skating, and French language. These activities promote teamwork, respect, and social interaction in a fun and non-academic environment.

As our school motto states: We Love, We Care, We Share.
