Green Land - Pré Vert International Schools (GPIS-Egypt) is a member of Green Land Educational Foundation (GEF-Egypt).

GPIS aims to contribute to making the world a better place by providing a distinctive high-quality IB continuum education in English and in French.

This inclusive education is conceptual, inquiry-based and learner-centered to enhance curiosity, intercultural understanding and respect, while fostering the learners' feeling of belonging to their culture and mother tongue.

Established in 1994, GPIS has been a leader in IB continuum educational programmes implementation in Egypt (IBPYP - IBMYP - IBDP), in a caring family-like environment that reinforces value driven character development, Egyptian cultural identity and Arabic language. The school has English and French sections, a quality management system that ensures consistency across all its campuses, a long standing highly qualified leadership team and a rich experience, approaching the end of its 3rd decade of practice.

GPIS family includes a large community of skilled practitioners who are on a never-ending journey of continual professional development. This community includes a significant number of International Baccalaureate Educators Network (IBEN) members.

Since 2008, GPIS IBDP students' results have always been excellent. In the latest session (May 2023), our highest score was 44/45, a feat accomplished by only 3% of students worldwide. GPIS students, on average, scored 35; surpassing the world average by 16%. Additionally, 10% of them scored above 40 and 60% scored above 35.

At GPIS, we go beyond academics; we care for our family members' socio-emotional well-being; therefore, we have a dedicated team for students' well-being. This team consists of Counselors, Assistant Counselors, Psychologist, Student Development Coordinator, Student Development Leader & Special Educational Needs (SEN) Leader.

As part of the GPIS mission and its social responsibility commitment, GEF-EGYPT signed a protocol with the Ministry of Education and the IBO in 2014 to start a pilot project of implementing the three IB programmes in Arabic in two governmental schools (Egyptian International Schools - EIS). EIS Zayed was established in 2014 and is considered the first governmental school in Africa to become authorized for offering the three IB programmes. Meanwhile, EIS 5th Settlement was established in 2018 and was IBPYP authorized in 2013. It is currently an IBMYP candidate.

EIS - Zayed celebrated the graduation of the first IBDP class in July 2022 with outstanding results with one of the students achieving a perfect score of 45 out of 45, placing her among the top achievers worldwide. Moreover, 100% of EIS students were awarded their diplomas; 13% of them scored 40 and above, and 60% scored 36 & above. Many of them were offered scholarships to study in reputable universities around the world.

Since 1996, GPIS has been continually ISO certified (ISO 9002 and 9001 since 1997 until the latest update BS EN ISO 9001:2015) from the British Standard Institution BSI - UK.

GPIS has been granted several awards from the International Gold Star for Quality from BID in Spain in 2002, followed by the Robert Blackburn Award by the IBO in 2007 for best Community and Services project in IBAEM. GPIS was also shortlisted out of 200 applications for the International School Awards 2019 (International Impact Award).
