Academic Excellence in IB Diploma Results
GPIS consistently achieves high academic results, reflecting its commitment to Excellence (FCV). For the May 2024 session: the top score was 44 out of 45, achieved by students in the top 3% worldwide; around 20% of GPIS students scored 40 or above; around 50% scored 35 or above; and the average score of all students is exceeding the world average by 15%.

GPIS prioritizes students' well-being and happiness (FCV). Its dedicated team includes counselors, assistant counselors, psychologists, a student development coordinator, and a Special Educational Needs (SEN) leader. This support network ensures students thrive both academically and personally, enhancing their educational journey.
Social Responsibility: Egyptian International Schools (EIS)
Aligned with its mission for a better world, GPIS launched a social responsibility initiative in 2014 with Egypt's Ministry of Education and the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). This project introduced IB programs in public schools, leading to the creation of Egyptian International Schools (EIS): EIS Zayed (2014) and EIS 5th Settlement (2018). EIS Zayed became the first government school in Africa to offer PYP, MYP, and DP, while EIS 5th Settlement was authorized for PYP in 2023 and is now an MYP candidate. EIS Zayed's first IBDP class graduated in July 2022 with a 100% pass rate, including one student with a perfect score of 45, placing among the top IB achievers globally.
Quality Assurance and Recognitions
GPIS's dedication to quality is verified by four quality assurance certificates to ensure continual improvement & perfection (FCV), starting with BS EN ISO 9001:1994 then BS EN ISO 9001:2015 from the British Standards Institution (BSI-UK). GPIS has earned as well as several awards, including the International Gold Star for Quality from BID in Spain (2002) and the Robert Blackburn Award from the IBO (2007) for community and services. GPIS was also shortlisted for the International Impact Award at the 2019 International School Awards, underscoring its influence in the global educational community.
GPIS is also the first IB international school to receive the LabelFrancÉducation, awarded by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This certification highlights GPIS's commitment to excellence (FCV) in teaching French language education, either as a first or second-language.
GPIS's Distinctive Advantages
As an IB pioneer, GPIS offers a curriculum that promotes curiosity, intercultural understanding, and respect while fostering a sense of identity and belonging (FCV). Its inquiry-based, learner-centered approach builds qualities like learner agency, self-efficacy, global citizenship, and character. GPIS's strong diploma results demonstrate its dedication to academic excellence (FCV). Beyond academics, GPIS maintains a close-knit, community-oriented culture where unity, intention, and benevolence (FCV) create a sense of belonging (FCV) for students, teachers, and families. Alumni describe GPIS as a "second home" that shapes individuals into thoughtful adults. This family-oriented atmosphere, combined with academic and personal excellence (FCV), makes GPIS a top choice for holistic education.
The IBO Director General, Olli-Pekka Heinonen, visited GPIS and EIS-Zayed on Sunday, November 3rd 2024, commending the school's dedication to student empowerment and its impactful IB program implementation.
"It was also inspiring to witness, albeit briefly, the implementation of IB programmes at EIS-Zayed, which you encouraged and supported to ensure IB education is accessible to all those who can benefit from it. This commitment to IB education was also evident in how the parental community at both schools identified the effect this education has had and continues to have on their children." - Olli-Pekka Heinonen, IBO DG
