Established in 2012, Hiranandani Upscale School is a co-educational day school in Chennai, located within the Hiranandani Gated Community overlooking the scenic Muttukadu Lake. Welcoming students from diverse backgrounds and nationalities, our school is committed to nurturing overall development through ethics, cultural awareness, physical fitness, and academic excellence, preparing students to become responsible global citizens. Our alumni study at premier universities globally, contributing to a more connected, compassionate world.

The Early Years and Primary Years Programme (PYP) in our school focuses on holistic development by addressing physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth. Using an inquiry-based, play-centered approach, young learners are encouraged to explore and express curiosity through sensory and creative activities, building a foundation for lifelong learning. Emotional well-being is central to our PYP curriculum, which includes "Circle Time: Connections for Growth" - a structured time for students to connect with peers and teachers, fostering social and emotional skills. Designed for children aged 2 years and 6 months to 11 years, the PYP curriculum revolves around six transdisciplinary themes that promote integrated learning across subjects, focusing on core literacy and numeracy while celebrating diversity and promoting international-mindedness.

The Middle Years Programme (MYP), for students aged 11 to 16, develops critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and global awareness. In our school, the MYP provides a bridge between the PYP and DP, ensuring continuity in skills development and a cohesive educational journey. Students engage in eight subject groups—including languages, sciences, and humanities—and develop interdisciplinary connections, applying learning to real-world contexts. The Personal Project is a key MYP component, enabling students to explore individual interests in depth and fostering independent research skills and self-management.

The Diploma Programme (DP) is a rigorous two-year curriculum for students aged 16 to 19, designed to prepare them for university and life beyond. The DP programme in our school emphasizes critical thinking, intercultural understanding, and a balanced education across six subject groups, with a core of Theory of Knowledge (TOK), the Extended Essay (EE), and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS). These elements encourage students to engage meaningfully with learning, fostering both personal growth and community involvement.
