London International Academy (LIA) is a private, co-educational day and boarding school located in the beautiful "forest city" of London, Ontario, Canada. It is where students are at the center of the learning experience, immersed in an engaging and innovative learning environment that encourages ongoing academic, leadership, and commitment to personal development. LIA prepares and graduates our students for admissions to top universities in Canada, United Kingdom, Southeast Asia, and the United States. LIA is an International Baccalaureate (IB) authorized world school and is certified with the Ontario Ministry of Education to offer academic courses in the 9th to 12th grades and is authorized to grant the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).

LIA is in a privileged position to have established University Pathway Programs with some of the finest universities in the country and our graduates are heavily favoured in the universities to which they apply. In some cases, our senior students can earn university credits while in their senior year of high school.

LIA's IB program enrolls students from around the world who continue to excel each year achieving excellent admission results. The program includes IB Spanish, and proudly recognizes a 2024 IB graduate who received the University of Toronto's Lester B. Pearson scholarship award, a 4 year full scholarship. The 2024 IB cohort achieved 100% graduation rate with the highest grade achieved being 43. LIA is also known for their highly academic and hands on STEM program and is recognized for being amongst the top competitors in mathematics, robotics, artificial intelligence, coding, science, and business competitions across Canada.

In addition to exceptional academics and student leadership opportunities, the school well understands the mental health and emotional needs of our students. All staff are trained in "Wellness" approaches to student counselling and support. In addition, we have on site counsellors and a nurse trained to assist and support our students.

The school provides both boarding and homestay options. The boarding facility offers 24/7 supervision and meals provided by several local restaurants offering a variety of international cuisine. Its main campus, located in the heart of the city of London (Ontario), is a vibrant hub for activities and student innovation.

Student services takes an individualized approach to university admissions and applications having recently placed students at the University of Toronto, Western University, University of Waterloo, University of British Columbia, Carnegie Melon, Imperial College, University of Manchester, Kings College, London School of Economics, University College of London, New York University, University of Amsterdam, University of Melbourne, Australia National University, Hong Kong University, and Chinese University of Hong Kong.
