Madison Group of Schools, which includes Colegios Madison and Anglo Británico Institutes, has over 40 years of educational experience, with campuses located in Chihuahua, Mérida and Monterrey, México.

Established in 2007, the Madison International School Campus (MIS) campus in Monterrey's El Uro area on the Carretera Nacional offers Nursery, Kindergarten, Primary, and Middle School programmes.

MIS provides a top-tier bilingual education, preparing students for a globalized world with strong English skills developed from the early years. Our constructivist, inquiry-based approach fosters critical thinking, reflection, and active student engagement. Students also participate in diverse international programs, such as:

  • Destination Imagination: Project-based challenges that build creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork.
  • Model United Nations: A simulation aimed at developing skills in communication, diplomacy, and global awareness.

Service as action is an integral part of our learning and teaching practices, with opportunities for students to take action in the school and local community through initiatives such as our Green Club which promotes sustainability. All students and staff are actively encouraged to identify problems in the community and come up with solutions, putting into practice the mission of MIS, which is to positively impact the world.

MIS students learn to collaborate with peers and strengthen their thinking, research, self-management, social, and communication skills through a variety of annual projects and learning experiences, including PYP unit closures, Exhibition and Community Projects, Math and Science fairs, Cultural Week presentations, French and German language fairs, Art Fair, and Design Fair, among others.

The school features exceptional, modern facilities, including computer, science, and design labs, video and conference halls, library, cafeteria, auditorium, music and art rooms, an indoor swimming pool and expansive sports fields. MIS offers a wide range of extracurricular activities, such as guitar, piano, robotics, and various sports. Students have the opportunity to compete in local and international sports competitions, and have won numerous awards on an individual and team level.

Student and staff safety and wellbeing are prioritized, with advanced security measures and logistics put into practice and regularly updated in accordance with international norms and regulations.

With the goal of embracing diversity and internationalism, MIS warmly welcomes students, teachers, and families from all backgrounds.
