"Mehr-e-Taban is a hub for quality education, blending cultural diversity and international standards."

Mehr-e-Taban International School (MIS) was founded in 2012, by Ms. Zahra Goorangi, as a close-knit educational community, embracing diversity and International-Mindedness. It is a home to learners of different cultures and nationalities. The school is located in Shiraz, Iran, a cultural-historical center, in Ghasrodasht District which is surrounded by a green and lush nature. Our school offers the finest facilities available in the region to the students from Kindergarten to grade 12. The IB bilingual diploma is granted to the students who accomplish their studies at our school.

Mehr-e-Taban International School (MIS) sets high expectations for individual achievement. The language of instruction at school is English and the school's curriculum is based on international standards, providing students with broad and in-depth knowledge in all subject areas. Moreover, curriculum of the Ministry of National Education is integrated and implemented along with the International Baccalaureate in the IBPYP, IBMYP and IBDP.

MIS focuses on providing an environment to encourage personal growth while developing students' core and essential skills. At Mehr-e-Taban International School (MIS) we strive to give students the foundation and attitude to thrive in a changing world by educating them as lifelong learners who inquire, think critically and creatively.

SEN department at MIS focuses on extra-curricular classes and support for the students with Special Educational Needs and functions closely aligned with the educational expectations. This department aims at providing support for the students who need more specific educational attention to catch up with the school curriculum.

Our school provides 2 valuable libraries containing high standard original publications, as well as, a well-equipped acoustic music room in which the individuals can attend their class or practice their music performances. Additionally, our school has a high-tech ICT center for the learners and staff access and the T.L.S (Tech-enhanced Learning and students' Success) department which is in charge of introducing Artificial Intelligence and its true impact on the students' success.

Our learners are well-equipped for entering universities both in Iran and abroad, as well as, presenting their skills in different areas. MIS has a rich and active community, engaged in variety of local and international workshops, events, contests and festivals. Our school engages its learners in various charitable events in order to project awareness on different cultural and social issues. Moreover, the school provides opportunities for the students to design and plan different events with a focus on local and global educational, social and cultural purposes. "Colors of Compassion Art festival" held in Dubai in 2024, is an example which was organized and managed by the MIS students. This festival had participants from all around the world and aimed at helping African children as a charity event.

Mehr Radio is another department at Mehr-e-Taban International School (MIS) which offers a vibrant platform for the school community to get engaged in reporting the events and the programs taking place at school.

MIS has approximately 200 learners from age 6 to18. Our campus has 2 green yards and one indoor playground, as well as 2 outdoor lunchrooms. Our three-floored school has around 20 classes and a conference room. All classes are well-equipped with smart technology for in-class and virtual learning.

MIS cooperates with around 150 local and foreign educators, with outstanding educational backgrounds and working experiences. The departments in charge provide monthly workshops for teachers, students and parents including educational-psychological workshops, teacher training workshops and educational workshops for the learners.
