NUCB International College provides a world-class education with excellent facilities and a rich natural environment, on its 200-acre campus, in Nisshin City, Japan.

The school implements leadership education from an early age within an international environment. It is the only boarding school in central Japan accredited by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science & Technology (MEXT) to offer two qualifications: the Japanese high school diploma (as an "Article 1" school) and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). All subjects apart from language classes are taught in English, and all our students have the opportunity to be awarded the Bilingual IBDP Diploma.

Excellence in Education

Small classes of 25 students enable personalised supervision by multinational faculty members with master's or doctoral degrees and faculty from affiliated top business schools. The learning at NIC is driven by the IB and the Case Method approaches to teaching and learning. After completing the programme, students emerge as well-balanced, internationally-minded and highly-skilled individuals. Furthermore, as part of our early leadership education, we offer a Summer School (July) and the Bridging Programme (April to June), a preparatory programme for prospective students aiming to start their studies in September.

Safe Boarding Environment

The naturally rich and beautiful campus of NUCB International College has been designed for international students, Japanese nationals who have lived overseas for extended periods, and students from domestic schools. In this safe and secure co-educational boarding environment with reference to international boarding standards, each student can work towards their own goals in their studies. 'House Supervisors', who are well versed in psychological and health management, conduct daily life support and regular individual counselling to ensure optimal support and guidance for each student.

Extensive Extracurricular Opportunities

To enrich and enhance the school experience, students engage in various extracurricular activities to foster creativity, autonomy, and cooperation, as well as joint events with our affiliated school and university, including school festivals, sports competitions and art week. House activities include monthly off-campus excursions to nearby attractive spots, such as recreational facilities and tourist destinations where students can learn about history and culture.
