Parkland Secondary School is located on the northern tip of the Saanich peninsula on beautiful Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. We are within kilometers of the Victoria International Airport and the Schwartz Bay Ferry Terminal making for easy access to students and visitors. Parkland Secondary is mere steps from the Pacific Ocean creating fantastic opportunities for students in our Outdoor Education programs and our Sailing Academy. The school's catchment area includes Sidney, North Saanich and the Indigenous communities of Tseycum, Pauquachin and Tsawout. Every year Parkland hosts a number of International students from around the world-attracted to our school and community for the beautiful location and the myriad of programs offered for students.

Parkland has a diverse selection of courses offerings including its renowned Marine Academy complementing the region's rich coastal geography. Students can also choose from courses in Trades, Technology, Visual and Performing Arts, and Athletics including a Hockey Academy and Canada's only Judo Academy.

Our International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme makes Parkland the only English speaking public school on Vancouver Island to offer the IB Diploma Programme for students in their final two years of high school. The IB Diploma Programme prepares students for participation in a rapidly evolving and increasingly global society as they develop intellectually, emotionally, physically and ethically while acquiring skills that will prepare them for further education and life in the 21st century.
