QSI International School of Bratislava (QSIB) is a private, non-profit institution that opened in September of 1994. It offers a rigorous, high-quality American international education in the English language for children ages 3-18. The warm and welcoming community that is QSIB makes it an ideal setting for children to grow in ability with the finest faculty and educational opportunities in Bratislava. Students in the secondary earn stellar results in our International Baccalaureate (IB) and Advanced Placement (AP) Programs.
The brand-new state-of-the-art facility (opened in January 2018) is a large 2-story complex, which has 35 classrooms, a library (over 18,000 titles), two computer laboratories, a gymnasium, an atrium, several outdoor playgrounds, a full-court outdoor basketball court, an artificial grass mini-pitch for soccer, and several offices. QSI International School of Bratislava (QSIB) provides full security for its students, teachers, staff and visitors with guards, an advanced key card system and an elaborate security camera network. Free Shuttle Buses to/from the campus are available from six separate locations in and around Bratislava.
QSIB offers the IB Diploma Programme to students ages 16-19, during the final two years (Secondary III & IV). The QSI courses offered in Secondary I & II prepare students to take IB courses. Students may elect to enroll in the IB Diploma Programme as full diploma candidates or as course candidates. Enrollment of students is done through one-on-one counseling with the Director of Instruction and the IB Coordinator. Prerequisite skills are required for the program, but specific prerequisite courses are not typically required.
QSIB students enjoy a high success rate with 94% passing the rigorous diploma programme with an average score of 35.8 over the last 10 years.
