Swans International School, established in 1971 by the Swan-Liggan family, has a rich history in Marbella. Originally operating from two villas, Swans has grown significantly. The secondary campus, opened in 2006 in Sierra Blanca, offers stunning views of the la Concha Mountain and provides an exceptional environment for academic and extracurricular pursuits.
Swans offers a truly bilingual education with parallel Spanish and English curricula, with English as the predominant language of instruction. This approach equips students with fluency in both languages, preparing them for success at universities in Spain, the United Kingdom, and around the world. Over the past five years, more than 40 students have achieved 40+ IB points, with the highest reaching 45 points, a feat accomplished by only 0.5% of IB students globally. The significant (I)GCSE results also demonstrate a high level of academic excellence.
