Wellspring Learning Community is the first IB Continuum World School in Lebanon and it is the realization of a belief that children of Lebanon deserve to study in a high quality learning environment that opens up space for developing their talents and intellectual potential, as well as their capacity for caring about the world around them.

Wellspring is a non-sectarian community with no political affiliations. Depending on availability, enrolment is open throughout the year. We welcome inquiries and visits from interested families.

Authorization/Accreditations

Wellspring is authorized for the IB Diploma, Middle Years Programme, and Primary Years Programme, Council of International Schools (CIS), New England Association of Schools and Colleges(NEASC).

Mission and Vision

Wellspring is an inquiry-based learning environment where students are given every opportunity to realize their social, emotional and academic capacities. Teachers, students and parents work collaboratively in an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust by sharing a positive learning environment that builds on an ongoing process of self-assessment, evidence-based decision making, and continual improvement. Our students will become confident, resourceful, creative, caring, responsible and thinking citizens, prepared to use their education to contribute in meaningful ways to improve society; locally and internationally.

Teachers

Our 175 faculty members are highly qualified and experienced teachers; many are native English speakers. In addition to being IB trained, some teachers hold additional positions within the IB Educator Network (IBEN).

Students

Wellspring has a large international population, with 58 countries represented across our two campuses, in addition to our local students who come from diverse backgrounds within Lebanon.

Facilities

We are proud to offer two campuses in the vibrant heart of Beirut. Both environments are attractive, technologically advanced, and continuously upgraded to keep pace with the demands of the educational program. Facilities include music and art rooms, science labs, computer labs, cafeteria(CCC), libraries, play areas and sports spaces.
