Established in 2011, Western Australian International School System (WASS) is proud to be one of only two schools recognized as an Australian Overseas School in Vietnam with the accreditation of the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA), one of the only 21 international schools in Vietnam licensed to teach by the International Baccalaureate (IB), and is also a member of the Council of International Schools (CIS).

WASS currently offers the Western Australian K-10 Curriculum International - Accredited Program (WA K-10 International) and the Western Australian Curriculum - Partial Integrated Program, which encompass the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority - ACARA's Australian Curriculum. Moreover, the Western Australian Certificate of Education International Program (WACE International) and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) are implemented for Years 11 and 12 students. In the academic year 2023 - 2024, the third generation of IBDP students at WASS will graduate. It is a solid prerequisite for those planning to pursue further education abroad, providing competitive advantages in terms of qualifications and skills when applying for admission to universities around the world.
