​Founded in 1864, the University of Denver (DU) is a mid-sized private university in the Rocky Mountain region, blending the friendliness and personal attention of a small college with the resources and intellectual diversity of a large research institution.

A delegation of over 200 representatives from governments, universities and schools from across the Middle East convened for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Higher Education Forum at Zayed University in Abu Dhabi, to build awareness of the IB programmes in the region and discuss the transition of IB students from schools to higher education.

Adrian Kearney, the IB’s Regional Director for Africa, Europe and the Middle East, answers key questions parents and students often ask about the IB’s newest qualification.
